The Blade Directions & Important Information.
Dear Resident,
Thank you for choosing one of or storage units at The Blade. Please find enclosed some information to help you find the unit and get settled in.
Before you go to the unit please make sure your access fob is activated for entry into the Cycle Stores on B2.
Directions: From main reception take the car park lift down to B2.The lift will bring you into the carpark area show with a star on the map.
Exit lift area and turn left, walk down corridor and take first door on right. Exit into car park and walk along yellow chevrons. Please be aware cars may be moving int his area. Turn left and the storage area is now directly in front of you through the white next to parking bay 52.
Within the unit there is the ability to unlock the door from the inside. Should you ever find yourself locked in simply move the locking switch from the up position to the down position and turn the handle anti clockwise. We don’t know how that would ever happen but thought it was worth bringing to your attention.
Please make sure you have locked your unit door and checked it is secure
before you leave the storage area.
For the safety and benefit of all our customers please can we remind you that the following cannot be stored in the Unit.
· Food or perishable goods unless securely packaged so they are protected from and do not attract vermin;
· Any living creatures;
· Combustible or flammable substances such as gas, paint, petrol, oil, cleaning solvents or compressed gases;
· Firearms, explosives, weapons or ammunition;
· Chemicals, radioactive materials, biological agents, toxic waste, asbestos, car tyres or other potentially hazardous substances;
· Any item that emits fumes, or odours;
· Any illegal item or substances or goods illegally obtained such as illicit (counterfeit/smuggled) tobacco or alcohol and unlicensed or unsafe goods (such as toys, electrical goods, medicines, aerosols, cosmetics, fireworks);
· Goods which are environmentally harmful or that are a risk to the property of any person;
· Items which are irreplaceable, such as currency, jewellery, furs, deeds, paintings, curios, works of art and items of personal sentimental value.
· Portable battery chargers, power banks or any similar portable power source.
· No electrical devices must be charged within the units at any time.
Within the unit you will find a magnetic lamp attached to the door to make it a little brighter in there. When it runs out of battery please just charge it for an hour with a standard Type-C charging cable and it will be good to go again.
